My sure signal stopped working yesterday. Internet speed test gives 2MBits. Connected to BT (standard internet not infinity). It comes on and power light is steady. Then 2nd light slowly flashes blue for a while and then 2nd and 4th lights flash slowly orange for a while and then 2nd light slowly flashes blue for a while and the cycle repeats. Have done a reset more than 6 hours ago - still the same. My external IP address is: 81.131.87.48 My results from the tracert is:

I saw that but it does not seem to change. Is there anyway of telling if I'm one of the people affected or not? Does the tracert tell us something?

From my understanding, looking at your Tracert, you are one of the affected users. This means that you'll need to keep an eye on the statement regarding this issue. It will be updated with further information as soon as it becomes available.

OK thanks. However, where can I get updates on this? With online chat on monday when it failed the said it was only bt infinity users. I'm not on bt infinity but old fashioned bt copper. Today they said "We are facing the issues with our services are down due to the major breakdown due to the fiber cable is damaged." Now if this is the case why nothing on vodafones website? Can someone from vodafone give me (and others who have a problem) an update?

another update from live chat for everybody.
the now say fibre optic issue will be fixed by 00:00hrs on 09/04.
has anyone else heard this or is it just rubbish to stop me asking vodafone about my non working sure signal?
