Hi guys Im having trouble registering my sure signal, i just get an error message telling me to retry in a few minutes everytime! No help on the phone.

I don't think calling Vodafone is going to yield the results you want.
I think the issue lies with the person from whom you bought the device - I suspect that he may not be telling you the complete truth about whether or not the device was deregistered or not.
You won't be able to get it deregistered as it is not registered against your account. Only the original owner can request the device get deregistered. Also, as you may be aware, if it has been sitting around in a drawer for ages it may have become completely inactive and cannot be registered.

As far as I'm aware their isn't a dedicated number.
