Sure Signal v3 only works with one registered phone

Hi,

I've installed my SS v3 and registered it on my Vodafone account. My phone connects to the SS, and makes calls through it fine. I can see this because the third light comes on when I make a call.

I have registered another phone number, which is on a different account, to the SS but this phone does not connect to the SS at all. As we have bad signal in our area I can check this because the second phone has 0 bars of signal when mine has full signal.

The handsets are identical (Galaxy S6) and I've followed all the steps to register the second phone. Can anyone suggest what I check next please.

Thanks.

Hi i only have my wifes registered to the sure signal. My phone number is just not recognised by the system and none of the online help team have been able to register my phone number.

the ss number is 43152123486

the phone i cannot get to add ends *********90

Hi

That serial number is coming up as invalid 43152123486

Can you check it, and confirm if you are in the UK and not Ireland, as I don't have access to Irish system.

The only unit I can see with that FSN, has the first 10 of the 11 digits, but ends with another digit and is registerd near Stranraer, but this doesn't have a matching mobile number.

Thanks

the last digit should be a 5 sorry wrong key and yes it is near stranraer

Hi

There are only 2 devices registered on the SS unit

one ending 54

one ending 66

I can see that the number ending 90 has been attempted to be added a few times, last time yesterday at 15;46, but it failed

There are 2 IMSIs associated with the MSISDN, so it might be an IMSI problem.

I'm looking at it now (as I get time)

Yes I did try yesterday. Thank you for looking into this.

the ending 66 is a phone and the ending 54 is my vodafone dongle that the ss is registered to as this was the only number that the ss could be registered with when I got it.

I'm just getting it checked now, so am waiting on someone else to confirm the error and hopefully apply a fix.

Will update ASAP

Cheers

...Are you Batman? #superhero

problem identified, and passed to the right people to sort out.

Not sure how long it will take to sort, as its now a task in their queue, but will keep on top of it.

Basically its a provisioning issue, once it's sorted the system will allow the number to be registered.
