Hi AliMo
I don't mean this to sound patronising, but please ensure that everything is plugged in correctly.
If it is, then I'm afraid the Sure Signal is no more and we'll need to change this.
To find out what you need to do in order to get this sorted take a look at our Vodafone Repairs Thread. This can be found here.

Hello DaveCD,
Yes, everything was plugged in correctly - rest assured, it's not just me doing this, but I/m doing the writing! I also phoned Vodafone today and now we are all agreed that I need a new one. I'm flabbergasted though that 2-1/2 years ago I bought this one for £50 - and now they're £100! I do hope, if I go ahead rather than look to see how much other providers' boosters cost, that it will last rather longer than 2-1/2 years - or even better, service providers provide for all.
Thanks for your all your help above,
Alison

Hi Alison,
As with all things, manufacturing costs do increase.
Also, the version 3 Sure Signal has an increased capacity for calls over versions 1 and 2.
Due to these factors, it’s been necessary to increase the cost of the device.
You can see all the information, including broadband requirements, here.
Hi Alan,
The version 3 device needs an overall broadband connection speed of up to 4.13Mbps.
You need a minimum of 1.5Mbps download with 0.3Mbps upload.
If the speeds you’ve quoted are the ones you see regularly, the Sure Signal won’t be able to make a connection with our servers.
You’d need to speak with your internet service provider (ISP) about increasing your line speed.
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy, thanks for your reply, i will add that the broadband has been getting slower and slower in this area over the past week and that i have seen bt vans all over the village so somethings up. I got the sure signal back in april time i think and it hasn't been a problem until this week, its just as well as nobody told me when i bought the suresignal that i had to have a broadband speed for it to work.i also got in touch with someone from vodaphone today to see if they could come up with something so i'm trying something out just now and we'll see if it works.cheers .Alan
