Suspended Sure Signal says it cannot be re registered

I am disabled, live in a poor reception area and my sure signal has been suspended again.  I tried to re-register it and when I entered my postcode, it told me it was in a different location.

We have lived in the same house for 7 years and this keeps happening.  Our home has 3 levels, so I set it up on the middle floor when I was able to climb the stairs (which I have not been able to for years).

Over the last few months people have been asking why they could not contact me and I've been informing them my phone is never off.  Also I have other members of the families phone registered with my sure signal and I only found out lately that their signal had also dropped to between 0 and 2 bars on the phones signal strength.

Because of this I asked my daughter to check what lights where working on the unit and to see what happened if she tried calling, texting or accessing the internet,  The unit had the power and first light working and when she used the phone the third light came on.  this made it look as though it was working fine, but on checking my account again, it showed 'Suspended'.  As a stated earlier it would not allow me to re-register and after talking to someone from Vodafone, they asked me to find some information and send it to them.  This was done over a month ago and still it does not work.

My unit is one of the earlier models and after reading comments on here about some exploding, I don't think I would like a newer model.

2 of our daughters have now moved to other networks that give a full signal nearly all the time and anywhere in the house.  A company the size of Vodafone should not have any really poor coverage area's esspecially in a town centre area, which is where we live.

Hopefully someone can look into this and get it working again, but until I hear something I have unplugged it, as why use electricity for something that does not work.

It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving the issues. They are available on eBay for around £10.
