I recently upgraded my phone online to use a discount code that I was able to get through my employer however Vodafone have added a new number to the account rather than upgrading my current plan. Am I able to move my old number over to the new plan that they have setup? I was also wanting to move my contract out of my dads name and into my own, will this now be effected by the upgrade not being done correctly?

My dad and I will be going into Vodafone to see what they say I think.
I have put my old sim in my new phone so therefore not using the new data package so I don’t know if that causes further problem and whether I would then struggle to get the contract cancelled.
The discount that I have applied was one that my employer had specially setup for the company with Vodafone and so I had a code that I had to apply online (which I did during the upgrade) and when I asked in the vodafone store they said that it should be fine. Which it would have been had they applied to my upgrade and not a complete new number. It wasn’t one that was specifically for new contracts only.
