Hi nea1ev,
iPhone tethering though the Personal Hotspot feature can only be done with an iPhone plan due to the way it works. If you have been using a BlackBerry previously, you would need to change the price plan to use this.
What was the issue with the BlackBerry Torch? If you got the handset from us, then we would look to get this working for you, either by helping to debug the issue or via a repair.

Seems when I renew my contract it won't be with Vodafone.
The Blackberry Torch 9860 was to be blunt not fit for purpose and I wouldn't even bother expending the energy sending it away for repair. Forever hanging, internet connectivity was dire, apps such as National Rail Enquiries were painfully slow compared to iPhone. The "wheel of optimism" was forever being shown. The physical buttons sometimes worked, sometimes not. Extremely annoying when stuck in an app, or worse still unable to end a call.
The entire experience has left me extremley disappointed with Vodafone. I have changed my plan on the condition it expires when the original did. Then I shall decide where I will take my business.

Hi Scoteburz,
You need to have tethering enabled on your account to use the personal hotspot.
