Will my monthly red bundle with my UK allowance work for free in Europe & the daily £3 charge dropped?

At the moment no. You would need to move onto one of the new plans that include Vodafone Global Roaming. After mid June all plans should have this enabled

If you want to switch to a new plan now you can do so by contacting customer or logging into your online account. More Details here

I have opted in for European travel & just my luck we travel on 10th June so will be 5 days @ £3.00.

Thanks for the quick reply

Global Roaming is enabled for existing contract customers on 11th June.

All existing customers will automatically benefit from Roam-free from 11 June 2017.

The title mentions UK to EU phone charges. Any call made in the UK remains the same, IF you call the EU from the UK it will be chargeable.

Thanks for finding that one @chistery! I Couldn't remember if it was 11th or 15th so played it safe and said mid! haha

@Larrythetwo if might be worth having a look in your online account to see if there is a plan you can switch to so you don't have to worry about charges on the first day 🙂

It will be interesting to see what happens on the 11th if people are in the middle of a trip.

I imagine a few people will find charges due to time zones and the Vodafone network person not pressing enter till they turn up at 9am, but you'd expect the charges to get reversed easily enough.

@chistery I'm actually away in Greece that week. I've got one of the last years tariffs with 4GB of inclusive roaming. In theory, after the 11th, I shouldn't get charged for going over the 4GB... Will certainly be giving it a try :smileywink:
