Hi,

You shouldn't have to update settings after an iOS update.

I've recently updated to the newest iOS 9.0.2

Which settings are you having to manually update ?

In the Vodafone 'Device Settings' the ones for the iPhone 6 should suffice. Or for APN Settings texting WEB to 40127

You shouldn't need to manually update the settings. Are you getting a message asking you to do so?

After an update you can aways update the carrier setting by connecting to iTunes where any new carrier updates will download automatically.

Thanks for your reply. This is the text I got from Vodafone after I installed the latest iOS:

"It looks like you’ve swapped your SIM or updated your device. To continue using data and sending picture messages, you need to update your settings manually, as your device doesn’t support automatic settings updates. Get started at vodafone.co.uk/settingsinfo".

Hmmmm sounds like for some reason it thinks you've swapped around SIM cards which I've seen similar posts on before.

Did Data Connection to the Network stop on your iPhone ?

I have never had to manually update settings on an iPhone.

Is data and picture messaging working OK now assuming you have not done the manual update?

I've had the same message and just ignored it. As long as you can access mobile data you'll be fine.
