Using a second hand sure signal box ?

Lo all,  My signal at home is now so bad that in most parts of the house, I have no mobile reception at all, its never been good and we certainly dont have ANY 3g where I live.

Im not paying vodafone a small fortune or monthly rental for a Sure Signal box to do Voda's job so options are use a second hand one or leave Vodafone.  So two parts to my query .

1) Is it allowed to use a second hand sure signal box ?

2) are all the versions stil usable I.E not just the later ones ?

You are free to use a second hand Sure Signal, before doing so you need to ensure the previous owner has de-registered it from their account

All versions of the Sure Signal do still work and are fully supported.

Thanks for the reply.  TBH I'm in two minds as has been mentioned by others why should I pay for the signal having gotten worse. If I can get a box cheaply I'll try it but if its going to be 40 or 50 pound sI'd be better off jumping to o2 who do have a good signal in my house and 'similar' prices. 

I am quite happy with voda 'except' then lack of incoming calls in my house which is now pretty much all the time in most rooms. This is annoying myself and others so it seems sure signal or move on. Its a shame there isnt a uma or other ap based cure for this as i only want my phone to ring when someone calls me its not much to ask.
