  • The results of a traceroute

Traceroute command:

On a PC:

  1. Click on Start and select Run

Hi Gleith,

I’ve checked your serial number and IP address and everything looks fine.

Your Sure Signal last connected on 31 December.

How are you getting on now?

Thanks,

Jenny

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

As far as I've seen the box has never connected and worked as described, I've never had the two white lights signifying correct operation or improved 3G/ phone signal.

This is still the case, periodically the box searches but never connects.

Hi Gleith

Just to let you know when I replaced my SS2 with the SS3 I had the same problem (just a red light and others) and spent 3 weeks changing all sorts of router settings and ports to no avail, to end up screaming at VPhone to get a replacement that worked with in 10 mins of plugging it in.

I powered off and on my Router today since then my Sure Signal will no longer connect.

Hi shelleytg,

Thanks for posting your results. For the Sure Signal to work, we recommend a minimum download speed of 4.13Mbps. Anything below this may mean you see intermittent service.

Are you able to chat with your ISP about your speed options? Everything else from your details looks fine. :Smiling:

Cheers, Ben

When re-set the Sure signal works for a while before returning to flashing power, orange internet and next 2 lights off.

Please help.

Hi shelleytg,

From what you’ve said, the issue sounds like it is down to the speed of your broadband connection.

As this is already borderline any fluctuation such as using the internet whilst making a call, can cause the connection to be lost.

Your best option would be to contact your internet provider about the possibility of increasing your speeds.
