Vodafone 527 Usb Cable?

Hi,
According to the features list and also the booklet that came with my Vodafone 527, I should be able to get a USB connector for the phone. I understand that I need one with the proprietary connector at one end and USB at the other, but I have not been able to find one. Does anyone know which Sagem model the 527 corresponds to, or which is the closest compatible connector, or know of a stockist?

Hi Martin,

The PC Suite is installed from the actual phone itself. If it's not Auto-Playing, have a look in the "USB Disc" it creates for a setup program, and use this to install the PC Suite

that's sounds great in practice,and thanks for the info, but there was no cable with the phone, and no one replied about which Sagem cable is the cable for the V527. Maybe it's detailed in the full manual?

Having taken a look at the manual I'm afraid it doesn't detail which USB cable is compatible but if you could leave this with while I make some enquiries and I'll come back to you.

Still no reply - anyone else found a USB cable for the Vodafone 527? Can't find it on Mobiparts - Can you give any more info Danielro?

well it looks physically like the power charger connector, so it might be, since the "pinout" will be different within the same physical connection

I have also been looking for a cable without success. I have sent various emails to the vodafone center in India or wherever it is & they haven't got a clue what I'm on about. They keep telling me that I need to go into my local store, which I have already & they don't have a clue either. I cant believe that vodaphone can sell a product & not know anything about the accessories that should accompany it or at least be compatible. What a load of cr*p!
