Hi I have had a vodafone contract for 2yrs with no problems using a E220 dongle ,and recently decided to go onto a pay as you go stick suing the K3565 ( 3GB with 30 days limit )this has also installed fine ,the problem is I have also bought a new sim card for my wife which is 1Gb with no expiry date and when trying to connect using either the E220 or the K3565 an error code 619 comes up and I can not connect .Any help would be great ,also I must add the I am not a computer whizz so basic PC talk would be appreciated .Many thanks Rob

Hi, are you using the same version of Vodafone Mobile Connect that you were using with the contract dongle? If so, on VMC, click on Settings along the top menu, then Change Account Type and make sure 'Prepay' is ticked. This should then reload the software using the correct settings and get rid of the 619 error.

Hi ruralrob,
Firstly, a very warm welcome to the eForum Family, it's always great to see new faces on here
.
I can see that ElCapitan has beaten me to the reply (thanks ElCapitan
). I'd recommend giving his suggestion a go as error 619 is most commonly caused by trying to connect with the wrong Internet Access Point Name (APN). Changing the settings from Contract to Prepay will ensure the correct APN is used.
Let me know how you get on
.

1G/3GB and contract all have different APN
1GB APN = pp.internet
3GB APN = pp.bundle.internet
contract APN = internet
You will need to setup different VMC profiles

Hi ruralrob.
You might need to check your phone and modem options for duplicate modems.
All the best
