Vodafone Update Software Problems

Since the android update yesterday, my phone has been failing to do some of the most basic ommands due to a problem with the Vodafone Updates. e.g. Clicking on a google now link brings up and error saying "Unfortunately Vodafone Updates has stopped". and crashes the app. HELP!!!!!!!

I'd always recommend a factory reset before and after an update on Android. 

What I'd say here is back your phone up using Samsung Kies, factory reset it and then restore it.
