Vodafone connect router firmware.

Asking this again as the last thread has been deleted for some reason.

In December we were promised a firmware update to address issues with streaming. To date no firmware has been issued despite a march update promising it was very imminent.

Can we please have an update on when we can realistically expect this update?

A thread is only dealt with by Administration or a Moderator if it infringed Community Rules. 

I believe your thread will have self moved to Archive which is how the forum house keeps its self. This sometimes happens if there is no activity within the thread. 

Have you perhaps tried to speak to the Broadband team by calling them.

According to the broadband team, it's a problem with all our equipment. Which is funny as we are expecting a firmware fix, but never mind that.

I find it funny how they make it sound is the crappy servers we have at home. The Synology I am using is enough to buy 5 vodafone routers.

Hope this gets fixed soon, as also the vodafone router doesn't support ntfs or exFAT on their USB sharing.

Looking at the other threads it looks like the new firmware has finally been released! Any indication as to the rollout plan? Some people have had it for a few days but I'm still waiting...

This is farcical..

So there are numerous reports of the new firmware being released and several forum users having it. I've been waiting a week for it and still nothing! The statement above hasn't been updated since March to tell us what's going on so please can someone tell us what is happening with the rollout of the new firmware???

I would also like to know about the new firmware release date .

I am contemplating leaving and I now have a chance due to the recent price hike clause allowing me to leave. I would rather not go through the hassle but if there is no information on for firmware updates in 2 weeks then i will be parting ways. I suggest everyone that was waiting for the firmware update keeps in mind that the get out clause in case of a price hike only lasts 1 month after the price hike, which is from the 1st of July i think.

The last update on this was on the 18th of March!

Please, please, please can we have an update on the firmware situation!

I did contact the Broadband team about this today and they said the full roll out is scheduled for this Friday and said its going out in batches of 5000 overnight to the routers OTA.

Don't know how much of it was true but I guess we'll find out.
