Asking this again as the last thread has been deleted for some reason.

In December we were promised a firmware update to address issues with streaming. To date no firmware has been issued despite a march update promising it was very imminent.

Can we please have an update on when we can realistically expect this update?

Please do not delete this thread!!!

Thanks for the update. It's a shame nobody at vodafone can be bothered providing this information officially.

Finally got the update! Version number is 5.4.8.1.271.1.59

Touch wood so far so good...

Any screenshots you can provide of the new firmware? Mine hasn't upgraded yet

Appears there is a 'Event Log' whcih may help my connectivity issues.

I have just received a new router, and it's got the latest firmware version

I did hear about issues with this but I've not experienced the same issue and it seems to work fine for me, what are you connecting and what is going wrong?

I have homeplugs going from the vodafone router. The homeplugs connect to my Windows 10 desktop, Raspberry Pi runing linux and a couple of squeezebox music players. Everything shows up in the router interface with properly assigned ip addresses.

However, I am unable to connect my (wifi) connected squeezebox to the (ethernet homeplug connected) Raspberry Pi. I am also unable to connect to the Raspberry Pi via SSH or the music server (via port 9000) from my android tablet (wifi).

However, when I connect the android tablet to the Homeplug wifi extender everything works fine.

The router "Overview" page shows the network in two parts, "Main Wifi" and "Network". Anything connected to the Homeplug wifi extender shows up on the "Network" side not the "Main Wifi" side. Seems like the two sides are not talking to each other, and it doen't seem quite the same issue, as I am just using SSH, I'm not trying to stream anything.

Hope this make sense.

Hi Jeztastic,

Ive had issues connecting to LAN devices from the 5ghz wifi band,

ive let tech support know and started my own thread, in the meantime try disabling thje 5ghz band of the main wifi and see if that helps.

So I've got the latest firmware. The dlna problem still exists and crashes my router. I've done a hard reset, still no joy. Come on Vodafone sort it out!!!!!
