After my phone suddenly stopped working last week, after calls to my network and visits to Samsung service centre, I have now found out that Vodafone has mistakenly blocked my phone as a stolen phone despite me not being on Vodafone and the fact that I got the phone 6 months ago form my insurance company. Vodafone online chat simply said go to a Vodafone store, but that it another hassle that I have to go through for Vodafone's incompetence. Why can I not find an email address that I can use to sort the issue out?

So essentially Vodafone has blacklisted some phone somewhere but has submitted the wrong IMEI (typo maybe) and thus blacklisted yours. Don't waste time visiting a store - "Go to a Vodafone Store" is the standard get-you-off-the-phone response when the telephone agent has no clue what to do; if you actually visit a store you'll find they will be no help whatsoever and will say they don't understand why you have been referred to them. Sorting this out will need access to non customer-facing teams within Vodafone . I suggest you wait for one of the Vodafone Social Media team to reply to your post (they read all posts although not necessarily immediately) who will probably take the essential details via a secure form and liaise with the appropriate team directly.
The reason you can't find an email address is because Vodafone have, like other large corporations, made a business decision not to deal with customer issues via unsolicited emails - nevertheless they may correspond with you via email once they have engaged with your issue.
