Ordered my upgrade to the Galaxy S6 Edge 64GB Gold 2hrs after the pre-orders went live on the 20th March. I was promised that it would be delivered on release day (10th April) and that I would recieve a free charger.
My contract changed over immediately to the new price plan and I recieved a tacking number for the "Track my order" section of the website.
All good? No.. that's where the communication ends. According to my tracking, I have a tick in the first box, that's it. It is currently sitting on:
Your order has been accepted.
Your order's been placed, but we're still waiting on stock from the manufacturer. We'll keep you updated by text and email.
I notice that this message has now changed from what it said previously.
Live chat - what is the point of this? The operators clearly don't understand English and have no idea what they're talking about. I have been told 4 times that I have to wait all day today, if I was told it would be delivered today, it will be. Well i'm sorry Vodafone, that is just a blatant lie!
I have been with Vodafone for 15 years and their service has just got progressively worse.
SIMPLE QUESTION - WHEN IS MY PHONE BEING DELIVERED???

In the same boat. I don't even have an order number/confirmation, tracking number, consignment number and online account unable to display anything in regards to order status ... all despite officially complaining on livechat who couldn't tell me anything new. No one can tell me when I am expecting any order details - just verbally that my order is waiting to be 'picked up'. Called a few times since release date and the last contact was Tuesday with someone telling me they honestly had no idea when the phone would arrive! Any pointers??

Hi everyone,
You'll receive an email where there is an update on your order. We're not able to provide a timescale.
Your order number can be tracked online.
Once your phone is dispatched you'll be sent a consignment number, which you can track with DPD.

@Amanda - Do you really feel it is an acceptable repsonse to say that you are unable to provide a timescale? Vodafone should be holding Samsung responsible to provide you with timescales just as we hold you responsible for providing us with timescales.
My tracking number at Vodafone is still at stage 2, but my delivery is ±45 minutes away according to DPD, so the order tracking at Vodafone is unreliable at best.

@Amanda - I have spoken to live chat AND 191 so many times
They have said that as I called upgrades team to upgrade my phone I won't get confirmation until the phone is in stock. The order number I was given is not long enough to track online for a status check.
I specifically stated that it wasn't a consignment number I wanted. But apparently I wont get any thing AT ALL until phone in stock. This is ridiculous. I pointed out that other people have received confirmation and a confirmation number they can use but apparently my case is very different...
But they have "promised" the phone was order.... and V are already charging me....
Please help
