Wifi calling

Hi could anyone tell me if the Samsung Galaxy s7 edge can use wifi calling on vodafone, as I was led to believe it was when I took out my new contract.

Please take a look at your account to find out what plan you have on this link - http://vdfn.co/myvdfn as WiFi calling is only available on the above plans.

Did you buy your S7 Edge directly from Vodafone? It looks like Wi-Fi calling only works for these phones.

This is a bit strange as apparently the latest update allows phones bought from e.g. Carphone Warehouse to use Wi-Fi calling on EE so I'm not sure why this would be different for Vodafone.

I think the direction 'under Settings>Applications' may be a little misleading.

Tap the phone icon>tap MORE (top right).tap SETTINGS>scroll to bottom, and under the heading WiFi Calling>Switch ON.

I managed to get wifi calling to work. For some reason the software update didn't install properly. So I downloaded the PB1 firmware off Sam mobile and flash this to the phone. Then immediately afterwards the phone re-updated to the latest firmware. Wifi calling was now available as an option to disable or enable under settings > applications > phone > scroll to the bottom. Should be underneath vibrate

I think some people are simply 'clutching at straws' and perhaps using 'delay tactics' here Morasool!
