Hi.
I am in a bit of a mess! I set up my suresignal 3 years ago and have now moved house. The suresignal has been de-activated by Vodafone due to inactivity at my old address. I now want to set it up for use in my new house. The problem is, I cannot remember any of my login details (except my email address). The phone which was registered on it is a company (corporate) phone, so it is therefore classed as business use (which it isnt).
I have spoke to customer services, but I keep getting passed onto different people for hours who cannot help.
One person suggested going into a Vodafone shop with the Suresignal, which I did, only to be asked why I have done so as they cant help me at all!
Has anyone been able to get out of this situation before? All I need is for a reminder of my account username and password. I can obviously receive this via my registered phone or email etc....
Thanks for your help!
Howie

Just seen similar posts where details of suresignal have been included:
Serial number: 40112304759
Mac: 5067F072383B
Can anyone help me please?
thanks!

Hi Howie,
Welcome to the eForum.
Normally if the unit is inactive for more than year, the licence will revoke. However, I can see that your licence has remained in place. Whether this is due to it being on a corporate account, I'm not sure.
The good news is that I've reinstated everything this end. All I'll need you to do is to perform a master reset and then give it up to 24 hours to re-register.
Let me know how you get on.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben,
This is awesome news! - thankyou very much for addressing this. I will do a master reset when I get back home tonight.
One query I have though - will this then effectivley behave as a new unit? - ie. I will have to create a new account and register it on that account, add numbers etc, or will it be on the old account (for which I cant remember any details?)
thanks again.
I will be sure to update you with how it goes.
cheers
Howie

Hi Ben,
As an update to this - I did a master reset last night - my phone was connected this morning which is great news! My wifes phone however did not, which is odd. She has logged into her account and can see she is active on our Suresignal, which is now back up, so it may take a bit longer for her phone to get sorted.
From my wifes login, she can see the Suresignal, is registered to our old postcode... I assume it will deactivate after 6 months again?
I am so pleased I am back up on my phone, but I have the issue of not being able to log into my account still to change the postcode, add numbers etc...
How can I sort this out?
once again, thankyou very much for all your help...
bst wishes
Howie

Hi HowieHilts,
That’s great news.
Now we just need to get your wife’s phone and online account sorted.
So that we can do this, get in touch with us here.
Thanks,

Hi again,
thanks for looking into this. I received a fairly general response from one of your colleagues asking me to dial 191 and speak to the business department. I have already done this, so know it wont be fruitful. Do you have any other suggestions for me?
its quite frustrating as this is not a business issue - it just so happens that one of the phone numbers registered on there is a a work or corportate phone...
thanks again
Howie

Hi. Thanks to all for your help with this. I still cant get access to my account, but I managed to speak to the business department, who updated the postcode and added my wifes number to the box. Actually her number was already on the system, but it wasnt connecting due to a handset upgrade, so the operator said he would re-sync. I reset the box several times since but she still cant connect to it.
She has an iphone 4s. Is there something else we can try please? is it possible to re-reset it?
As long as we can both connect to the system, I am not too concerned that I cant access the suresignal myself....
thanks again.
