changing phone whilst still under contract

Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on contract with over a year left. I am buying an unlocked iPhone but the type of SIM is obviously different. Will I be able to keep the same number and contract and just get a new SIM from Vodafone? If so, how long does this take? Would it be a standard PAC code swap?

Hi there

Forget about the PAC - you don't need one of those!  The quickest way to get SIM swap done would be to pop into your local Vodafone store where they will provide you with the correct sized SIM for your device and activate it for you so that your number moves over.

I had this done today but not activated yet, how long does it usually take?

Hi. It can take up to 24 hours but has sometimes taken a bit longer, try switching phone off and back on

So frustrating it's been over 24 hours since I had the SIM swap and still nothing. Have called up 5 times now to be told it should be working. The store staff even said it will activate immediately but this hasn't happened. I am going away and was hoping my phone would be ready.
