Hi,
From experience the firmware will be released in stages / waves.
As Vodafone will not comment on Firmware releases to their branded handsets for reasons explained in their Firmware Statement it's a case of keep, checking your software update section in your phone.
I hope you get it soon.

this update seems like a bit of a lottery,

The store wont be able to update your phone if Vodafone have not released it to the general public yet.

they have released it i just havent recieved it yet,its a bit frustrating when i know many other people on vodafone with an s6 who have recieved the update.

It could be that some of these other people are not using a Network branded phone.

@gs6 In that case they is certainly nothing lost in going into the store and asking if they can update for you.

Dont worry you're not the only one, my phone hadn't been updated upto the begining of last week. I got fed up of waiting so manually updated it myself.

yes battery life seems to be much improved, especially after I removed the Vodafone Wallet app which was consuming 36% of the battery life. If I could be bothered to reset the phone it would probably be even further improved. Basically I've gone from about 9-10hrs before needing to charge to about 13-14hrs so I can basically make through the day now which I couldn't do before.
