Hi,

I would suggest speaking with Vodafone customer service billing department.

Did you perhaps pay a little too close to the DD date. It's best to leave the payment to come out via DD.

And your own Banks Customer service can discuss the Direct Debit Guarantee with you with a view to returning the funds.

Hi @lyrykkilla

The whole point of having a direct debit arrangement is not to have the worry of remembering to pay the bill.  If you have a direct debit, you leave it until the money is taken from your account.

If you are going to make a manual paymet, it has to be done at least 7 working days before the direct debit date.  Any later, there would be nothing Vodafone would be able to do to stop the payment leaving your account.

The best thing to do now is to leave things as they are.  The extra payment will be on your Vodafone account as a credit.  Unless there are any extra out of bundle charges, this means there will be nothing to pay next month.

If you log into your online account, you will be able to see the credit on your account.
