iPhone 4S unknown message

My phone has notified me that I have a message from an unknown caller, when I look there isn't one? When I click off the message icon it still says I have a message? Can someone help!

Try a hard reboot of the phone to see if that clears it.

Hold the Home and the Sleep button down together and relase when the Apple logo appears then let it reboot itself.

You will not lose any data doing this.
