Hi guys,
You can get the 16GB iPad 2 for free on a 24 month contract at £32 per month if you're an existing customer - the 32GB would be £50 and the 64GB would be £100.
This contract gives you 2GB of data use per month and 1GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi :smileyhappy:
If you'd like to take advantage of this offer, follow the instructions here and we'll be in touch as soon as we can :smileywink:

Hi
Would someone be able to check my account and see if I am eleigible for the Free Ipad
I have already ordered a 32Gb white one and had to pay £50, But feel a bit annoyed that No-one told me about this offer.
I have 4 Phones out on Contract, Have never missed a payment and Passed the Credit Check.
If possible and Im eleigible, I would like my Ipad changed to the Free Offer, But upgraded to 64Gb, White
Thanks

Hi Marvin02,
I don't see any reason for you to feel annoyed! Check http://www.vodafone.co.uk/personal/mobile-internet/on-your-ipad/index.htm and you will see that the normal price for the 32Gb is £279 one off at £27 a month. SO I don't think that you have any reason to complain after paying on ly £50!
In other words, you got the offer
By the way... You could as well say that the price is £27 per month instead of £32. Just do the maths.... 24 x £5 extra = £120 extra on monthly cost. + £50 one off = £170 for the iPad, out of which the £120 is spread over 24 months (consider it as a short term loan!). Even like that, you are getting the gadget £99 cheaper!
Now, the worst thing is that you have to wait for some time. And as Paul (from the WRT team) told me on the phone, "you will not be charged any monthly charges until the iPad and the microsim are dispatched to you or to the store that you selected...
ps> There is NO offer for a free iPad other than the 16Gb. 32 is at £50 and 64 at £99 I think, or even more....

Thanks for Clearing that up Iatou
But one thing, I didn't ask for it at this price, I was offered it at £50.00 and Im still pretty annoyed at the 4-6 week week expected wait, when I ordered it they said I would have it within 2 weeks, 2 weeks being the maximum wait.
Spoke to an Agent this afternoon who said that they are getting a shipment of Ipad 2's on Monday, so will just need to wait and see if its True.
Thanks again for the reply

Kenny, When you ordered the iPad, you must have been advised of 2-4 working days. Then you received an email saying 2-4 weeeks, due to shortage of stock. I never heard of waiting times of 4-6 weeks.
You can always track this thread: http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Apple-iPad-2/iPad-2-Delivery-Timescales-Please-Read/m-p/704123/messag... as anything new will be posted there regarding waiting times etc. In the meantime, APPLE states delivery in 2-3 weeks, so Voda expects to receive from Apple straight away, and then start delivering on FIFO basis (first order in, first order out). That's why they state 2-4 weeks. If you can find some place stating 4-6 weeks, not only me, but the mods of the forum would be really interested to see that!
I love it when I remember all that FIFO, LIFO etc software engineering terms 10 years later
Should you need any further help, don't hesitate to ask!

I have never received an email saying that the wait is 2-4 weeks, only email I have ever received is
"We are pleased to confirm that your credit check has been successful and we are now preparing your order for delivery. When your order is ready we will contact you by email to confirm the delivery details. "
When I called up the Online Order team to ask when it would be here and why my £50 hadn't been debited yet, I was told , due to unprecedented Orders, the order was likely to take 4-6 weeks, they were expecting a shipment on Monday 4th April, But most of them had already been allocated, hence the wait of 4-6 weeks.
So I guess the people to ask would be the Online Order team .

Good Morning marvin02,
Looks like you've already had your question answered!:smileywink:
You have definitely been given the offer only open to existing customers, as mentioned the 32GB iPad2 should be £279.00
The current wait time is around 2-4 weeks, as you can imagine demand is high but we're shipping them out as fast as we receive them!
If there is anything else at all, please let me know.
All the best,
Kay
