sure signal v2 issue extra user

my wife and i both have samsung galaxy s2 on vodafone and a sure signal v2 i the house, the owner of the sure signal can use it no problem but when i am added to the user section i get the tx saying i can use it but nothing, i have de registered it registered it underr both our accounts and re booted reset both phones and the sure signal but to no avail can anyone shed light on this please as to what im doing wrong, as stated who ever the owner is is fine on it but any extra users get the text but then no change to signal and it isnt working on the sure signal, im using bt infinity 10mbps broadband all that is ok so im at a loss as to what to do next 

please help if you can

Hi dan3mitch,

 

Many thanks for your post advising the steps you’ve tried up to this point. I can see that the changes you’ve made recently have been successful, but the thing you’ve not mentioned is whether or not you’ve ever had device resynced, so I’ve actioned one for you now.

 

To make sure the resync completes, can you perform a factory reset:-

 

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Let me know how you go on.

How much time are you allowing between each of the changes you're making? The most frustrating thing about these devices is that you don't get the benefit of an immediate response to a change in configuration.

It can be several hours - even a whole day - before a correct configuration results in the expected functioality.

its been over the last week i have left over 24 hours but have made changes yesterday so will see this evening
