New build activation problem

My activation date is today. I plugged it in  as illustrated in the photo. I'm unsure about where Port 1 is. Internet is showing a red flashing light. Can anyone help please?

Anyone know what that box with the dished top in the bottom RH corner is?

Must be a router as it was connected directly to the ONT. Could be technicolor.

For the life of me, I can't remember the make, but I think it's a Zigbee smart box - I assume the new build came with a few smarts as standard!
