hi, the problem for everyone is solved Vodafone is in a sly way getting customers on the 910mb pro

package but are failing to inform customers their modem is out dated and cannot acheive high speed

signals on WIFI AS THEIR ROUTER ONLY PROVIDES A 866MB MEANING ITS INPOSSIBLE TO ACHEIVE 910MB

SPEEDS.

THEIR THE ONLY SUPPLIERS ON CITY FIBRE WHO ARE NOT SUPPLYING WIFI 6 ROUTERS TO

CUSTOMERS TO GET THE 910MB SPEEDS. SO THE MAX THERE ROUTER CAN ACHIEVE IS 400MB TO 520MB

THATS WHY THEIR RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS BY INTRODUCING THE 450MB CAP TO CUSTOMERS WHEN TAKING

OUT A 910MB  PRO BROADBAND.

I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO REPORT THIS TO THE CONSUMER WATCHDOG

WHICH, OFGEM AND MONEY SAVING EXPERT MARTIN LEWIS. YOUR ALL BEING CONNED INTO PAYING £58

FOR A PRO PACKAGE WHERE THE SPEEDS CANNOT BE ACHIEVED UNLESS YOU HAVE A WIFI 6 ROUTER CITY

FIBRE ARE NOT TO BLAME THE PROBLEM LIES WITH YOUR INTERNET PROVIDR.

BUT CITY FIBRE ARE TO BLAME

FOR NOT MAKING MANDATORY WHEN SIGNING A DEAL WITH VODAFONE TO PROVIDE ALL CUSTOMERS WITH

A UP TO DATE ROUTER THAT CAN HANDLE 910MB SPEEDS WITH A GOOD MODEM. SO BOTH HAVE FAILED THE CUSTOMERS TALKTALK OFFER AMAZON WIFI 6, GIGANET OFFER WIFI 6 ETC. BUT VODAFONE ARE LYING AND

MAKING EXCUSES MORE PEOPLE NEED TO REPORT THIS OFGEM, AND YOUR LOCAL NEWSPAPER OR MP IM

SURE THERE BREAKING THE LAW SOME WAY AS WIFI 6 OFFERS 1200MB AX ON ROUTERS WHICH WORK WITH ALL DEVICES WITH WIFI 6 INTRODUCED IN BEGINNING OF 2021 ON MOST HANDSETS.

ALL THIS CAN BE TESTED TO SEE THERE MODEMS ARE POORLY BUILT WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER WHO OFFERS

A WIFI 6 ROUTER TO SEE THEIR ROUTERS ARE THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMERS SLOW AND LOW SPEEDS.

Have you considered that it's the service that is 900Mbps?  Regards the max WiFi sync rate of 866Mbps, that's not the speed but a sync rate, the two are different.  Also it's WiFi is 3x3 which should get you 1300Mbps if you have a suitable WiFi card in your device - if you only have (as many of us do) a 2x2 device then you'll only see 866Mbps irrespective of what the router is capable of!

Multiple other ISPs in the UK have yet to upgrade their devices to WiFi 6.

You want wifi6? Get your own router.

ISPs effectively give these router's away so they are made as cheaply as possible.

FYI, if you do get your own router, WPA3 can be problematic!  It mostly comes down to having to forget connections and set them back up, but I'd love to hear VF-CS trying to sort it out - it'd be carnage!
