I have an OTP that is currently all green/active from an ISP which I believe to be TalkTalk running on CityFibre infrastructure.
I have the Vodafone ultra hub router but I can’t seem to find a way to connect to the existing active service as I can’t seem to find a way to configure the WAN configuration eg VLAN id, etc.
if I had an independent router like an ASUS I’d be able to configure this but I can’t seem to find the “super-admin” functions as the “expert mode” does not seem to allow me to configure and connect.
Any advice?

The vodafone router is dumb in this respect. It's totally locked down by vodafone and gets it's settings from vodafone's provisioning servers when it first connects.
TL;DR It won't work with other ISPs.

Yes I thought that would be the case. Such a shame to lock down such decent technology but we all know why the ISPs do it.
any recommendations on a cheap alternative to overcome this issue?
the last tenant at my property died and the line is still active and I’m struggling to get a new ISP as the new tenant to connect to the line as CityFibre won’t release the service.

I don't think it's worth it tbh. As the previous tenant has passed the bill won't be paid and it'll get cut off. More economical to just wait I think, or get an fttc service for now if it's available.
