Hi,

Vodafone just connected broadband to my house. I have my own router that I want to use.

I have a login, password and Internet VLAN ID (901), from customer service via live chat.

I have a TP-Link AX6000, upon filling IPTV settings, my router is required to provide more details than Vodafone gives me.

Vodafone router: Power Hub.

Second question: Do I connect directly to the Openreach box via Ethernet or Still need to use a Vodafone router with "Exposed Host Function" on?Image on 2024-09-28 05.54.34 PM.png

Connect the WAN port of the router directly to the ONT on the wall with an ethernet cable. If it is indeed openreach (white ONT) then VLANID should be disabled. If it's cityfibre (black ONT) the VLANID is 911.

I haven't a clue where 901 came from (?). 🤣
