Hi,
I'm really struggling with upload speeds on the broadband. We have superfast 1 and whilst download speeds are fine, upload speeds are just awful. I recorded a podcast last week that needed uploading and it took 4 hours! I've checked the speed and we are getting 0.6-0.7mbps, not the 10 advertised. I've contacted vodafone about it and just got fobbed off (we've run some tests it should be better in a few days, and then I forgot about it as I don't upload big files very often). I'm trying to transfer my photo album currently, which is going to take about 2 weeks given the current rate so any help gratefully received.
Thanks

First you need to find out what upload you should have on your line. You can find out what Openreach think it should be capable of here: BT Broadband (btwholesale.com)
Then you need to do a speedtest, preferably wired, here: Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test or use the Vodafone version here: Internet speed test | Vodafone UK and if it is as low as you say. try a test with the router in the test socket.
If still very low, try the Vodafone help here:
My broadband is slow | Vodafone Home Broadband or call 08080 034 515.

Don't know why I forgot to mention it before, but it would be useful to know just what your sync speeds are,
You can find them by logging into the router under Line quality.
