We've had our Pro Full Fibre 900 connected since 4/11. Took nearly 3 days to get connected while we excitedly expected internet speed far beyond our previous fibre to the cabinet connection. 900 Mbps! Guaranteed 455 Mbps! No.
Not even close.
On average, 200-250 download. Sometimes not even that. At 3 in the morning - not exactly peak usage time - we may get up to the 300s. Upload on the other hand can be twice the download speed but what's these use of that? My husband works from home - not enough bandwidth for a video call yesterday. And that's not the only time that's happened. Line drops out several times a day. Tweeted Vodafone with a screen shot of our speeds. Got asked what the speed was with cable connection. Really? Are you kidding me? The whole point of using WiFi is so you don't have calls everywhere!
I'd ring Vodafone but the thought of being on hold and listening to that dreadful music again is beyond me - spent over 3 hours on hold over the weeks before the internet actually connected thanks to the farce of City Fibre not turning up and then Vodafone taking 3 days to provision our line.
Someone please tell me that this ridiculous internet speed can be improved and we can get what we're actually paying for!

Wifi has it's limitations and that includes the speed. To saturate your connection you need a wifi6 router, which the THG3000 is not.
That said 200+Mb on wifi5 is good going.

That is actually a very reasonable question. it could help confirm if the problem is just Wi-Fi or a line problem.
Apparently, as a Pro customer the other lines of support (such as live chat) are closed to you, but I suppose it's worth trying, https://www.vodafone.co.uk/bbservcd/
Otherwise, it's the Xperts.

We've plugged a laptop in with an ethernet - quite an achievement to (a) find a cable and (b) finds a device with an ethernet port. Speed was 750mbps. The obvious question is why do Vodafone supply such a s**t router?

Check that your Ethernet patch lead is at least CAT5e and that your laptop is capable of receiving data at 1Gbps and has a processor that can cope with web-based speed tests.

Because it's not down to the router. It's down to a bottleneck - wifi 5. If you want faster wifi speeds then you need to go to wifi 6 -that's the router and the devices that connect to it.

You must choose wifi 6 for your router and any connected devices if you want higher wifi speeds. https://www.vodafone.co.uk/newscentre/smart-living/everything-you-need-to-know-about/what-is-wifi-6e...explained/

Wifi6 will help as the AX spec on the VF router will get you around 600mb/s.
All the VF routers we got are WiFi6
It's hard to diagnose wifi faults as congestion could be caused by your neighbors if they are all using the same channels as you.
If I was in your situation, I'd get a 3rd party router or downgrade to 500mb.

You may get a better speed with a USB-C to ethernet adaptor. Obviously your circumstances may differ.
