B593s Internet on but no data

Good day to all!... I am currently using the Huawei B593s router on the EE network with no issues - apart from the cost of 100Gb data at over £53. So I decided to try the Vodafone PAYG facility - just to test the network. I have set all the APN settings to that for Vodafone but it will not Tx Rx data. It states that it is connected and I have blue indicator showing 4G connection with 3 bars... I also utilise twin directional antenna to increase signal gain. Looking at the router it give values for v4 protocol connecton but states v6 protocol not connected. When using the EE sim I get both v4 & v6 connections. Any help would be good!... I can provide screen prints of the devoice if anyone can help .!!.... going out for a walk now as I've had enough for the moment.

Ironically it did work for a very short period as download but would not upload - then nothing.  I have replaced the EE sim and everything working good again.

I have the same problem, but with a Netgear M1 and O2

i received the Vodafone sim today, put the sim in, setup the apn as per Instructions with the sim (pp.vodafone.co.uk, wap/wap auth)

got connected, but no data

checking My Vodafone it says I have £25 credit. I thought it should say 15GB, so I looked for an option to turn the credit into data, couldn’t find it, even tried to buy another 15GB. It took the money, but still no data 🙂

then I tried to go to the NHS website since all ISPs are offering free access, voila I could access the website. Regrettably it I didn’t kick anything into life, I still can not access other sites.

so it seems to be a problem getting my data allowance recognised.....

The nice people at Vodafone support sorted out the SIM card. Partly they did something with my address. I’m not sure if it was previously blank, now it has lots of Xs except for the country code (U.K.)

They also converted my £25 credit into 15GB data

too early to say if Vodafone has a better service than O2 at my house, but definitely no buffering today.

Received this today....

Great news – we've fixed the problem with our mobile network in PL67TN, which means everything should now be up and running again as normal.
Sorry again for the disruption to your service while we were getting things fixed.

Its now working perfectly :).... great system and just the same speed as EE, only it'll be £20-00 per month less and not restricted to 100Gb.. !!!
