So our contract with optus adsl is nearly up. Since I find the home broadband slow enough that I often switch to my mobile 4g at home (vodafone), I am considering changing to mobile broadband. Can anyone share their experience with speed of vodafone mobile broadband compared to their 4g network? Would hate to find out they don't compare... We consistently only use about 50 gig of data, and I am very aware of how expensive going over our data allocation could prove. Cheers. https://routerlogin.uno/

As Vodafone Mobile Broadband is used via using a Vodafone Sim card in the device which connects to mast cells you can check what your connection should be , but isn't a guarantee of speed via inputting your postcode in the status-checker.
Speeds are affected by weather, population of that area accessing the masts, buildings and tree's etc.
A Static Home Broadband connection are not generally affected the same way.
If you would like to perform a forum search you should see people's views and opinions on using Mobile Broadband via devices like dongles and the Vodafone Gigacube etc.

A new service from Vodafone and worthy of consideration. If the broadband goes down the service is automatically switched to Vodafone's 4G network Broadband back up.
