I bought a 24GB 730 day Data SIM in October 2021 for use with a Huawei E5785 mi-fi. Probably used about half of the data allowance. Came to use the device whilst in the Lake district recently and received 'No Service' message. Same was happening when I returned home. Getting through to Customer Support was a nightmare. Automated system didn't recognise the SIM's mobile number and the agent was an unintelligible Dalek and I was dumped back to the musak after I'd given the SIM mobile and then disconnected shortly afterwards.
I can't try the SIM in another device - I only have handsets available that take nano SIMs and the Huawei used the larger micro version. Don't know what t to try next.

The tariff you are on @MacChap is not entirely clear. Vodafone sell pre loaded data SIMs valid for 90 days 12 or 24 months on the link below. If this is correct and you purchased the SIM October 21, the SIM would have expired.
If you were on a 30 day SIM, this would be a monthly roll over contract payable each month. See here: Mobile Broadband data SIM
If the SIM was purchased as PAYG, the SIM would have needed to be kept active, if it has not been used since 2021, it would have been removed from the network.

Thanks for your reply @AnnS
As mentioned in my post, the SIM is 730 days (24 months) and is not due to expire until October 2023. I am sure there's unused data allowance but unable to check this. I don't recall it being registered in a Vodafone a/c, although there is an SMS message on my device from Vodafone advising me that they added one of my email addresses to my a/c. However, attempts to regain any access to an account with that email simply say the address is unrecognised. All so frustrating!

You certainly need this looking into @MacChap . If you have a lot of patience and are able to get past ToBi give live chat a try.

TOBi doesn't want to play with me, @AnnS 😭! Greyed out in my browser. I'll have to try others and get back on the case when I know I've got at leat an hour of free time.
