I use MyVodafone to monitor how much data is left on the PAYG Data only account that is used with a R219h mobile WiFi Hub. Recently it showed 2500Mbs but 5 mins into a Zoom call the internet connection dropped and MyVodafone showed 0Mbs left.  How os the online account synchronised to actual data usage and how often is this updated?

Hi @malkie. Your data allowance and usage is reported in real-time both on the My Vodafone app and My Vodafone online. In regards to your concerns raised, there are many factors that could be involved in your data consumption whilst on your Zoom call. For example: 

 

  • If you're connected to a VPN or not (VPN use will increase your overall data consumption by 5-15%).
  • The amount of users on the call and the call quality. 
  • If users are on video, the amount of users and the quality of video.
  • The amount of other devices that are also connected to your MiFi.
