Hey there @dougster2010 The USB Dongle is compatible with the following software : Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Win10 (Does not support Windows RT), Mac OS x 10.9~10.15 with latest upgrades. We do advise it works best with Windows and Mac computers or laptops.
I can't assure you that it would work with your Smart TV but if it has a USB port it would be worth trying 😊
