Hi Vodafone UK community,
I've recently switched to Vodafone and I haven't managed to connect to 5G. Is there any reason why I wouldn't be able to do so using a iPhone 13 Pro with a Vodafone eSIM while going about in central London? Trying to figure out if my setup is wrong or if there's a network limitation in EC1 London.
Thank you!

Hi @rsaraiva
5G is certainly available at the location for inside and outside reception and you should be able to connect to the service.
I would have a word with Vodafone using live chat they will be able to check your account. Alternatively, you can speak to the Social Team through social channels here: Contact Us

Hey there @rsaraiva 👋 as @AnnS has mentioned 5G is readily available throughout central London - you can check specific postcodes on our Network Status Checker.
As you're not able to access it anywhere, this would generally point to your phone set up - please follow these steps to make sure 5G is enabled:
1) Go to Settings > Mobile Data
2) Select Mobile Data Options and press Voice & Data
3) Press 5G on to ensure 5G is enabled
You can also view this on our step by step instructions via our Device Guides. If you still need any help after this, please pop my team a message over on social media.

Did you manage to get this working on 5G ? I’m experiencing the same thing.

Yes - don't ask me what I did back then, but it eventually started picking up 5G signal without me changing much in terms of settings. I was worried for a second the eSIM was not 5G compatible but that turned out not to be the case.

Thanks - actually the same happened to me. A few minutes after posting on here 5G just sprung to life !
