This could attributed to a few things going wrong.
Ranging from Network strength issues, mast congestion to SIM card degrading or the phone playing up.
Some good troubleshooting tips are to....
If this is happening in one area see if it's happening in other areas - if it happens in only one area then look at the Vodafone uk-coverage-map to see if there is a known issue. Top tip > Use the Zoom out function on the map to check surrounding masts.
If this is happening everywhere then can you put your SIM card in another phone and check to see if the issue persists.
If it does then there is a chance your SIM card is at fault.
Any Vodafone High street Store can perform a SIM swap to replace it. This is usually complete in around 10 minutes but can take up to 24 hours to settle occasionally.
But If the issue stops when you try another phone then as a process of elimination the phone could be at issue.
If the phone was supplied by Vodafone then they apply a 24 Month Manufacturing Warranty so they can send it off for a diagnostic.
That or contact the manufacturer for direct support.
Vodafone offer a template also which can help them determine if it's a network issue. Please use it and paste it back here with your answers if required > oNetwork-issues-initial-checks-and-template.
