Issues with the Mobile App

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask - we went to the cinema yesterday to use the 2 for £7 voucher but when we tried to use the app, it failed to connect. We mentioned to the Odeon staff that the offer had now ended, so we paid for full whack. 

When lkeaving, i decided to try the app again, was able to get in and saw that the ticket vouchger was still there. Mentioned to the cinem,a staff who said they couldnt do anything, but should report to vodafone.

Advice please? we had to pay £20, considerably more than £7 we were expecting to...
