Black Ops 6 Gaming

Hi All, Trying to play Black Ops 6 with my Lad, he is on PS5 (wifi) I'm on PC (wired), we both have bought the game but we can't play together? The only time we did manage to get online together was just after i restarted the router, we could both get into game, but that's not a way i want to go every time we want to play , as if he's playing and i want join we have to restart the router, it spoils his or my game so the other can play, that's no way to go. there has to be a setting or something Vodafone can do surly ?? i've tried forwarding some ports but still no good. Any Help would be Appreciated. Thank You

@R1-Mini I suspect that both are trying to use the same network port. I suggest that you check the game manual and it's own community for LAN settings.

Thanx for the Reply, but no Manual for the game, and as for Lan settings of the community lol all you get is restart the router, do a fresh install of the game there's a lot people having the same issue with no help at all, the game use 3074 for both ps5 and pc but no way of changing it in game or any other way?

Having played other Activision titles, I know that their support is really bad.

Thanx again, tried all that's in those links and still the same, cant play at the same time, and yes Activision are useless, nothing is there fault and tell you stupid stuff to try.

@R1-Mini One idea, open the guest WiFi and attach one of the devices to that.

Just thought i'd let you know lol, after trying all sorts nothing worked, then looking into it today and starting the game we had a 3gb update and guess what lol IT WORKS haha, dont know for how long? so finger crossed and Thanx for the Help

Funny you should say that lol, spoke to soon, about 3 hour it lasted and now back to how it was, so i'm stuck again and not sure where to look now, nothing changed but it stopped working again for some reason, more looking into it lol

Makes me wonder if either the server is kicking you off due to your ip (it's known they'll often ban a whole block for one bad ip), or somehow bad data is being sent to the server from one of your devices (could be anything).
