My Vodaphone Broadband will not pair with my Hive Hub. This is the second Hive Hub I have ordered, thinking that the previous one may have been faulty.
I have tried the switching everything on and off etc but my broadband appears to be trying to pair with the Hive Hub but then indicates that the pairing has failed.
Any ideas????

Hi @CSH6, thanks for getting in touch. Is your internet connection working fine otherwise, is everything else connecting well either via cable or Wi-Fi?
What lights are you getting on you Hive Hub? Have you tried speaking to their customer services, or popped onto their Community for troubleshooting ideas too?

Hi I have the same problem now. Can you let me know what the solution was? Both hive and Vodafone have done multiple tests without success?

I replaced my hive hub & it fixed the issue (funny how it broke on the same day we switched to Vodafone BB!)
I fixed the smart plug connection issue by purchasing a 2.4ghz tp wifi access point from Amazon I plugged it into the router & set it up as a separate network for 2.4ghz devices & it works great. It wasn’t expensive, around £10
vodafone supply is shocking. They know the issues we all have but don’t have any solutions

I am having the same issue. Light on the hub is a flashing green (trying to connect to internet). It started off being seen by the router but said it was offline. After resetting the router and re checking with hive, the router no longer sees the hub.
I have spoke to Vodafone tec, Hive tec and British Gas,, but nothing has worked. Although home end other than run diagnostics and switch it off and on, I am out of ideas. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for letting us know @cbuxton99 So we can look into this in more detail, please drop a message to our Social Media team here with a screenshot, or a video of the error/ issue you are having. They will be able to securely access your account and can run some tests on your broadband service to make sure nothing our side is causing the problem.

I have exactly the same issue and have exhausted all options troubleshooting with British Gas etc.
my issue occurred when I moved home and got a new router from vodaphone.
Old router was the same and vodaphone and was working perfectly.
convinced it is not a hive issue.
Any advice or suggestions welcome.

I am in the same nightmare!
Swapped over from Sky BB to Vodafone superfast last Monday. Managed to get my hive cameras connected (as they connect directly to the wifi) the hub has connected to the router but can’t get any internet connection. Been onto hive support & they sending out a new hub, hopefully this will solve the issue, I’ve had to set the router to 2.4ghz only as none of my smart devices would connect. Even now the dropout continuously. I wish o had stopped with sky tbh,
