Hi, I have been trying for over almost 2 weeks now to upgrade to this new Super Hub on the Pro II BB package. But seemingly i can't and they can't tell me why so hopefully you will have better luck than me and be able to get the new Hub. I am interested in it also but as i said can't get it for some unknown reason, after numerous calls and web chats i still can't get it.

I did this the other week I called up said I want to upgrade they sent me the kit, I have the new ultra hub and a booster on my desk, not installed it yet as im waiting until the kids are in school tomorrow to do it (its a pain having to reconfigure everything, check signal, setup pi-hole etc with the kids moaning about when the broadband will be back up),

Do you really have to reconfigure everything? When I moved to VF (mind you not on Pro) from another ISP I just reconfigured the router to use the pihole and changed the LAN from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.1, and changed the WiFi SID and credentials accordingly. One router reboot and all the devices connected.

The family keep asking me to change the WiFi password to something other than the default one... but that means going around reconfiguring every wifi device in the house, alexas smart plugs and bulbs tvs etc.. pihole is easy just turn off dhcp on the router (I use the pi for DHCP as the old router proxied requests so hid what client made the request in logs). I also want to do another cat6 cable run up at the time.. just all those little jobs that I've been putting off while the kids were off school.
1st world problems I know but when the kids are off school there was never a good time to do it, missus had some online course she's doing today so I'm gonna do it tomorrow when it's just me.

Give the kids a non-volatile data storage and retrieval device, say perhaps a book, and fix it when it best suits you otherwise it'll be hanging around on your to-do list forever 🙂

Lol I don’t disagree but it’s all sorted now I wfh so when I have the house to myself is the perfect time for maintenance

I've been going back and forth for over 6 hours to get an upgrade but with no luck. What number did you call/department did you speak to and have you upgraded your package or was it free?

I called 191 chose the broadband option etc and just asked to upgrade, I explained I have the pro broadband now and I want to upgrade to the new pro 2 broadband I wanted the new 6e Wi-Fi router and hubs.
