Hi everyone,
Has anyone worked out how to resolve the Sky Q connectivity issue where it drops wifi completely even when a few meters away from the router with no walls in between.
I spent 1 hour on the phone to a Wifi Xpert to no resolve today.
Tried:
- Turning off all Sky Q minis (2)
- Re pairing with Sky Q
- Manually setting DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 on the router and main Sky Q box
- Removed all boosters
- Rebooted the router many times
- Factory reset the router
- Updated the main Sky Q box to the latest version
- Setting up "Wifi 2" purposely for the Sky Q box only
No luck on any of these, it connects for a short while and then disconnects.
Outside of doing a direct data cable is there any options I have?
Second issue...
I was able to pair my android phone to the router with the broadband app, worked smoothly. Few days ago I lost the ability to access the Super Wifi tile, the Wifi Xpert team asked me to uninstall and reinstall the app, every since then i've not been able to pair through the app at all. (I do have internet access) I just can't get through the pairing process the app requires through WPS anymore, the countdown gets to 0 and throws an error or restarts.
The two boosters I have pair successfully instantly.
I've tried pairing with an iPhone and iPad with the same result, no dice.
I've tried pairing through the router page 192.168.1.1 etc, no luck.
Hoping I can find some resolution here!

Hi @jakal1212, if you don't find the answers that you're looking for, it might be worth speaking to the WiFi Xperts again on live chat. Just follow this link, then click 'Chat to us online', this should get you connected to one of the dedicated team.
