Hi everyone,
We've just switched over to Vodafone essentials (£12 per month) from Now and have also just moved into a new property.
We've just discovered that our new property had Openreach fibre broadband installed.
My question is, is it possible to still get the essentials broadband even though fibre is installed in the property? And what changes would be required, if any?
Reason we are keen to get the essentials broadband is because I'm claiming benefits and qualify for the offer Vodafone have at the moment. To switch to fibre would mean an increase in price that we want to avoid with our current situation with our income.
Thanks
Graeme

Obviously you will need to confirm with Vodafone, but I can see no reason why Essentials wouldn't be provided over FTTP (Full Fibre).
If there is already an FTTP ONT in your new property, Openreach are unlikely to agree to use FTTC anyway.
If you have already signed up they should be aware that the property has FTTP.
Essentials is a standard price irrespective of how it is delivered, and you will be exempt from the 14.4% price rise the rest of us will be hit with in April.
