My elderly step-dad has moved away from Vodafone to Onestream and selected to keep his THG3000 router (knowing that Onestream use the Vodafone infrastructure so assumed it would be fine).
Onestream have provided their user name and password:-
dsl000000000@onestreamltd.vodafone.net
p/w: xxxxxxxx
Please can someone help identify where within the THG3000 set-up pages/tabs that this data needs to be entered? Onestream have not been able to offer any help on this matter - other than search the internet!
The router is showing a broadband connection but we can't access the internet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks.

Seriously, that is a pretty poor router. 100Mbs Ethernet ports and 300Mbs wireless N. Something from the Dark Ages,
Anyway, the reason you can't log into the Vodafone router when it is connected to the Onestream router (LAN to LAN), is it will need it's base address to be set to the same subnet as the Onestream DHCP server.
Rather than try to explain it all here, just watch this Youtube video.

no i cant even access it when i plug in my pc directly to the vodafone router via ethernet/LAN and type 192.168.1.1

I believe the TP-Link routers also use 192.168.1.1 as their base address, so make sure you are trying to access the correct router.

@toweruk Have you tried a factory reset of the THG3000G?

yes it still does not recognise 192.168.1.1

@toweruk The PC, does it also have WiFi or a second ethernet port? If it does then these need to be disables and you should reboot the PC once you have connected it to the THG3000G router or it will not pickup the settings from the router.

If you really did factory reset it, then when you connect a device to it, the device will get an P address from the Vodafone router. But it has to be a factory reset so that the DHCP server is turned back on.
Hold the reset button in for at least 10 seconds, perhaps a bit longer. The THG3000 should show a count down on it's LEDs. Check the IP address on the device is in the 192.168.1.xxx range.
