Hello, I can’t find my WPA2 password to get WiFi on an iMac. It says my usual password is invalid. Anyone know the answer. With thanks

The default password is on the bottom of the THG3000, I believe it's on the back of the earlier router.

If you have changed it at any time you will need to factory reset the router. Can you not use WPS?

Hi, thanks for replying.

I’ve tried the password at bottom of router but says it’s invalid, and I haven’t changed the default password.
When I try WPS it says ‘a connection timeout occurred’

not sure what else to do.

Factory reset the router. Hold the reset button in for at least 10 seconds.

Hi, tried that also but still no joy.

thanks for your help.

Hi @Cazbe, are you able to connect to other devices via Wi-Fi?

If not, you can connect to your router via Ethernet cable and access your GUI through your iMac's browser.  From the link provided, please split your SSIDs (we'd recommend setting each SSID their own name so you can distinguish the 2 if you haven't already) and reset your WiFi password to connect to your iMac.

The 5Ghz would be best for devices that you need for high quality streaming and the best performance - so TVs, game consoles or your iMac 😊

Devices which would benefit from 2.4Ghz would be mobile phones, smart devices or tablets.

Please update us here and let us know how you get on 👍
