Of course you can use your Pay as you go SIM in your mobile router @ianegpf. As long as it has an active connection and bundle/credit to cover your usage, there shouldn't be a problem. If you do experience any difficulties, don't hesitate to give us a shout 📣

Thanks for that Mark. How do I activate the card if I don't have a Vodafone phone/account? This sim is for occasional use with a MiFi router in a poor reception area in a static caravan to stream films/videos.

No worries @ianegpf, we're here to help! To get your Pay as you Go SIM working, just follow these below steps 😊

  1. Put your SIM into your device and switch it on – if you need help, find out how to insert a SIM
  2. Wait for your phone to show it has signal and the Vodafone symbol – this can take up to 24 hours, but it's usually much quicker
  3. Top up your phone and you're good to go

Thanks for that. However how do I activate the card if I don't have a Vodafone phone/account or access to an unlocked phone? This sim is for occasional use with an unlocked MiFi router in a poor reception area in a static caravan to stream films/videos.

Thanks,

Ian
