I am looking at buying a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G from vodafone and there is only the option to buy it with a pay as you go sim, would i be able to buy this phone then put my current sim card into it and it would work?

Edit to clear up my initial wording.
As long as the phone itself is unlocked to all Network's which Vodafone are now supplying it'll accept your own sim card @Yiannishad
If your own sim is not a Vodafone sim card then as Vodafone are predominately supplying unlocked phones out of the box then your sim should work ok.
You'll just need to change the apn settings that's in the phone to work with your own Network's mobile data.

Yes.
A little more about phone's having to be unlocked out of the box.

From Vodafone >
There will be 2 requirements to Unlock a phone via Vodafone UK .:
• The device was purchased from Vodafone
• The device is not currently blacklisted.
There isn't a waiting period of 30 days either etc.
