Charged 1£ for claiming a free data offer

Hello. Kept receiving texts about the free 500 MB data offer. On 5.02, I installed the Vodafone app for the first time and claimed the offer. After that:

- Received a text saying my 500 MB is ready to go.

- Got charged 1£, received a text saying I now have 50MB of data and unlimited texts etc... Claiming that offer was the only thing I did on my phone, with home wi-fi and data switched off. 

- To this day, none of that free 500 MB either!

Recently there seems to be a few people that have been charged £1 for Payg1 allowances even though they have had mobile data turned off @shimanai 

I would suggest to speak with customer services on 191 or Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries and I'm sure they'll get this resolved for you.

When you speak to the Social Team @shimanai , you make sure they refund your £1.00, you shouldn't have been charged.

There is more than a few PAYG 1 customers having this issue and it's about time Vodafone found the cause and stopped overcharging PAYG customers.
